The cool Park City fall season is fast approaching with its crisp air and mild temperatures. This is one of our favorite seasons because it heralds the upcoming winter seasons. It’s the time for getting out that warmer clothing and getting ready for colder temperatures. It is also a great time to enjoy some awesome activities.
Fly High in the Skies
Because the cool air lets balloons fly with ease, this is a great time to take to the skies. Enjoy floating high above the colors and terrific scenery. Of course, there’s always the champagne toast to bring it to a new level!
The Harvest Abounds
Go out and enjoy the bounty of the season at the local farmers’ markets. You can find all sorts of delicious things—fresh produce, jams, jellies, and other such local favorites. There are several farm stands dotting the area as well, where you can get your fill of fresh produce.
Take a Scenic Drive
As the leaves start to don new colors, this is the perfect time to take a scenic drive. There are several spectacular drives you can take in the area, including the nearby Uintas and even the Sundance/Alpine Loop. The nearby Big and Little Cottonwood canyons are also the perfect destination to enjoy fall in the mountains.
Hit the Links
There’s truly nothing better than enjoying a day on the links surrounded by crisp fall mountain air and the gorgeous scenery. Take your clubs to the Wasatch Mountain State Park course and enjoy the lakes, trees and mountains. Of course, Mountain Dell and the Park City Golf courses also provide plenty of fun and breathtaking surroundings.
Enjoy an Outdoor Concert
The outdoor concert season does wind down after the Park City fall season, so this is the perfect time to enjoy a concert or two with a picnic and great music. The Newpark Center, Deer Valley and other locations all offer a variety of great musical acts to enjoy.
