Park City 4th of July Parade and Celebration 2023

If you are coming to Park City this summer to enjoy a lively 4th of July celebration, then you will be satisfied with this year’s 4th of July Parade and Celebration. Each year the Historic Park City Alliance puts on an incredible event that is perfect for individuals of all ages. The 4th of July Celebration is an all day affair that starts in the morning and does not end until it is dark outside. Start your 4th of July Celebration at City Park where you can enjoy a pancake breakfast. This has been a city staple for years and is always a favorite for the community.

Make sure to show up hungry as there will be plenty to go around. After you have had your fair share of pancakes you can prepare for the 5K Fun Run starting at 8:00 am. This race is a great way to kick start your 4th of July as there will be plenty of runners in their patriotic attire or in full costume. The 5K race is perfect for individuals of all ages who wish to walk or run.

Next up on the agenda is the 4th of July Parade starting at 11:00 am. This parade is huge and goes down Main Street in Downtown Park City. You will see plenty of historic vehicles, patriotic, floats and much more on display in this local favorite. The parade is always a major attraction so make sure you find a great viewing area along the route well before it begins. The parade starts at the top of Main Street before it heads down and turns left onto 9th Street and past the Town Lift.

Finally, the event will run for the remainder of the day over at City Park starting at noon. 2023 will be a little different this year here in Park City than in year’s past as the Park City Council has approved a drone show to replace a typical fireworks celebration. This short program offers a way to honor our fallen veterans with a live service and music. This event is a must see for anyone with military history traveling to Park City for Memorial Day.

Explore the Utah Olympic Park

Park City may look familiar to you as it has hosted the Winter Olympics in years past. The Utah Olympic Park is where all of the competition and activities were held and has since been open to the public. Make sure to stop by the Utah Olympic Park on May 26th for the summer season. The park has a variety of exciting activities for the summer season that are sure to bring some fun into your trip. You can enjoy zip line courses with the ‘extreme’ and ‘freestyle’ courses each offering something different. Additional activities include the scenic chairlift ride, drop towers, the summit and canyon courses, and so much more. The best way to enjoy all of these activities is by purchasing a ticket to an early season gold pass session. Starting on May 26th the first 275 participants to purchase this daily pass will be able to enjoy unlimited access to all of the activities at the park for a 3-and-a-half-hour session. The pass is only $75 per person with sessions being from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The only activities not included in the pass are the summer bobsled experience and guided tours; everything else is fair game! Kings Crown 106 features a total of 3,685 square footage of space so everyone in your party will have plenty of room to themselves. You will first find yourself in a shared common space that connects the living room area and kitchen together. The living room space features a giant sectional sofa that is extremely plush. Directly in front of you will be a huge Smart TV mounted to the wall above a gas fireplace. Guests will be able to access a cozy patio deck from the room where you can see down onto the neighborhood of Park City Mountain Resort. Having a gourmet kitchen on hand will make the difference for you and your family. Kings Crown 106 comes with a total of six bedrooms that will easily accommodate up to 16 guests a night. The bedrooms are all found across the four levels of the Park City rental property. The grand master suite is practically its own private home. Found on the third level, this room comes with a king size bed, large walk-in closet, a private gas fireplace, and private patio. The en suite bathroom comes with stone counters along the dual vanity, an oversized soaking tub, and glass steam shower—practically your own spa experience in one! Another master bedroom is found on the third level also with a king size bed, Smart TV, and private bathroom. One guest bedroom can be found on the main level of Kings Crown 106 and features a queen size bed, Smart TV, and en suite bathroom. The other three rooms can all be found on the fourth level. The third master bedroom is up here with similar layout to the second master bedroom and en suite bathroom. The second room on the fourth level features a queen size bed, Smart TV, and shared access with the hallway bathroom. The final room features a twin over queen bunk bed and an en suite bathroom making it the perfect room for the children. An additional half bath is found on the main level to be accessed from the common areas of Kings Crown 106.
