Park City Mountain Resort is OPEN!
Here is what you need to know about their winter operations.
Park City Mountain Resort is open and they are ready to bring you a SAFE winter of powdery fun. Read on to learn how you can enjoy an epic time on the Park City slopes, while still keeping you and your family healthy.
Reservations will be required to access the mountain
This step has been taken to give those headed to the slopes peace of mind knowing that they will have the space to feel comfortable and safe while still being able to enjoy the mountain. Park City Mountain Resort anticipates that, despite limiting the number of people on the slopes each day, the mountain will still be able to accommodate all those who would like to ski on the majority of the season dates.
Epic Passholder Perks
Being an Epic pass holder is key this season! With lift tickets sales being limited, locking in your dates, and your “perks” by purchasing your choice of Epic Pass is the first step to a hassle-free day on the mountain.
Please keep in mind that 2020/2021 lift tickets will not be available for purchase until December 8th. Not only does purchasing one of the several Epic Pass options by November 6th grant you priority access to reservations, but it also provides the best value. Even if you are only planning to ski one day this season, purchasing the Park City Epic Day Pass can save you up to 50% off of the cost of regular daily lift tickets.
Here are just a few additional perks all Epic Season Passholders will enjoy:
PRIORITY RESERVATION DAYS FOR THE SEASON
Planning in advance for your trip to Park City? As an Epic Pass holder, you will
receive the exclusive opportunity to reserve up to seven Priority Reservation Days for the season (Dec. 8 – April 4)
before lift tickets go on sale.
MORE SLOPE DAYS THROUGHOUT WINTER
As an Epic pass holder, you can make as many week-of reservations during the season as your pass type
and availability allow. This is in addition to your Priority Reservation Days.
RESERVATIONS ARE JUST A CLICK AWAY
Just head to EpicPass.com to view real-time availability and make reservations all in one place! Once reserved the dates will automatically be activated on your pass.
When the time comes to hit the slopes just grab your gear, your pass and off you go! It is just that easy.
The reservation window opens in early November.
On the Mountain
CHAIRS & GONDOLAS
Face coverings will be required to access the mountain, including in lift lines and while loading, unloading, and riding on chairlifts and gondolas.
To maintain physical distancing on our chairlifts and gondolas, we will only be seating related parties (guests skiing and riding together), or:
Two singles seated on opposite sides of a four-person lift
Two singles or two doubles on opposite sides of a six-person lift.
Two singles on opposite ends of our larger gondola cabins.
SKI & RIDE SCHOOL
This winter we will offer group and private children’s lessons with adjustments to emphasize safety for guests and employees.
Full- and partial-day offerings will vary by resort.
All ski and ride school classes will have a maximum class size of six. Specifically for 5- and 6-year-olds, the maximum class size will be four.
Because 3- and 4-year-olds often spend a good portion of their lesson indoors, we will offer this age group one-on-one, one-hour private lessons. This age group is also welcome to join their family in a full- or half-day private lesson.
Lessons must be purchased in advance and will include your mountain access reservation(s). A pass or lift ticket will be required for classes that require lift access.
Face coverings will be required. All ski and ride school participants will be required to complete a pre-arrival self-health screening on the day of their lesson.
MOUNTAIN DINING
Restaurants will be open, including full-service, sit-down restaurants.
We will be managing capacity at the entrance and spacing out seating indoors and outdoors.
Face coverings will be required except while eating and drinking.
At our quick-service restaurants, only ready-to-go hot and cold food options will be available in order to accommodate as many people as possible.
Packaged beer and wine will be available at most locations, but full-service bars will be closed.
All transactions will be cashless unless required by local regulation.
