We all like to take a little something home with us from our vacations. Certainly the memories that you will make here in Park City, Utah are the best mementos. However, there’s nothing wrong with taking home a little sparkle too! I have to admit, I have become a fan of some of the unique, custom jewelers that we have here in Park City, and my husband has become a pretty good customer, lucky for me! When you decide to peel yourself away from all of the amenities of your luxury vacation rental, take a stroll on Main Street and peek in to some of the lovely little jewelry shops. Whether it be Rolex watches, or hand-crafted one-of-a-kind pieces that are guaranteed to be conversation starters, you’ll certainly find a little ski town sparkle to take home with you.
A Unique Diamond Sonwflake Created at Park City Jewelers
One of my favorite spots to window shop, and hint for gifts, is Park City Jewelers, located at 430 Main Street. What’s so fantastic about this truly unique spot is the customization that occurs – no mass produced pieces here. Park City Jewelers specializes in designs that are specific to the mountains and nature including diamond snowflakes, a favorite of locals and visitors, pearl snowmen, and wildlife jewelry. Stop in to Park City Jewelry and you’ll be warmly welcomed by the staff, and offered a fresh baked ginger cookie, the recipe of the owners Grandmother – they’re a delicious treat! While you’re noshing on your cookies, they’ll happily clean any jewelry you are wearing. While you wait, you might as well try on a bauble or two! They also do a great job with jewelry repairs, sizing, and watch repair. Make sure you stop by this special store and take a little Pakr City home with you!
Find a Unique Treasure at Silverado in Park City
An interesting spot to visit to shop for jewelry and other accessories is Silverado, located at 260 Main Street. The owners of this little shop have spent over 20 years collecting and designing their collections, and have all sorts of fun pieces for you to enjoy! As soon as you walk in the shop, you’ll notice the cozy ambiance and exceptional customer service offered by Thomas and Michelle, the store’s owners. They have gone out of their way to ensure that their customers feel like a part of the family while within their shop. You’ll enjoy looking at the great beaded pieces including necklaces and bracelets, as well as the Western inspired belt buckles and cowboy hats. They even sell delicious Chai Tea for you to take back to your vacation home and enjoy.
Experience True Luxury at OC Tanner in Park City
If high end is your thing, then you’ll absolutely want to drop by OC Tanner, located at 416 Main Street. Although OC Tanner found it’s beginning in Salt Lake City, it opened it’s Park City location so that skiers, celebrities, and visitors could indulge in the luxury items they offer. Spend some time perusing heirloom-quality jewelry, as their cases are filled with the latest designer collections. Although they offer a variety of collections, some of the highlights are Roberto Coin, Omega and David Yurman. OC Tanner is synonymous with luxury – they even provide a personal shopping service should you so desire. Visit them and enjoy surrounding yourself with true luxury!
