Spring has sprung here in the beautiful Park City area and, though the snow may be melting within the coming months, there is plenty to do and see! After all, Park City is at its most beautiful during the spring, when the flowers bloom and the grass begins to peek amongst the white. So here are just a few of the great activities you can take part in while enjoying the cool spring in Park City!

Spring Skiing Galore!

While the skies may be blue and the daffodils and other wonderful flowers are starting to peek through the ground, there’s still plenty of skiing and boarding to be do. All three ski areas are open through the month of March and the snow is still great.

You can even enjoy a concert after a day of skiing at the Canyons. The resort hosts a series of free spring concerts. You can catch some rays while soaking up some great music. Spring Gruv at the Canyons offers a week (March 20-29) of fun activities including pond skimming and live entertainment.

Also, Park City Mountain Resort hosts Snowasis from March 28-April 5. This is a family friendly festival held on the Plaza and the mountain. Enjoy activities including scavenger hunts, a carnival, live entertainment and more!

Explore the Trails

Spring is a great time of year to explore the trails of Park City. You can hike or bike around the area and see the trees starting to sprout their gorgeous greenery. This is also the time of year where the beautiful wildflowers will start to color the hills.

Exploring the Swaner Nature Preserve is also a great way to spend a spring day or two. Start at the Swaner Eco Center in Kimball Junction to get some great information about the flora and fauna that call Swaner home.

Get Your Skate On!

Go out to the Park City Ice Arena and enjoy an afternoon of skating. There are open skate hours and lots of other activities. If you are a first-time skater, make sure to schedule a lesson so you can enjoy gliding around the ice.

Take a Stroll on Main Street

Spring is a wonderful time to take a leisurely stroll on Park City’s Historic Main Street. There are fewer people so making your way up and down this quaint street will be easy. You can check out the great shops to pick up a few souvenirs or two. Of course, you should take in some of the great dining available. You’ll find everything from American comfort food to sushi and Italian and much, much more. There is something for everyone!
