St. Patrick’s Day Activities in Park City

What is there to do besides ski or snowboard in Park City this weekend?  I’m glad you asked!  As usual, there is a plethora of activities to keep you busy during your vacation. One event you might want to check out is the weekly Spring Gruv Concert at Canyons ski resort.  After you’ve had a great day playing in the snow, there’s no better way to top it off than an outdoor concert with lots of great food to nosh on!  This week, the Spring Gruv presents a special St. Patrick’s Day performance by The Warsaw Poland Brothers!   This well known, nationally touring act specializes in a Punk / Ska groove that will get your toes tapping!  When Warsaw comes to town, you’ll be dancing for sure with a zeal you never knew you had!  Visit www.canyonsresort.com for more information.

After all of the dancing and fist pumping, you will definitely need to fuel up at one of Park City’s award winning restaurants.  There are so many to choose from, it’s always tough to make a decision, especially when you only have a limited amount of days to enjoy a culinary tour of Park City!  One of my favorite go-to dining options has always been Café Terigo, located at 424 Main Street in Park City.  Café Terigo offers diners hearty cuisine inspired by great Northern Italian and Southern French styles.  The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and they have one of the best outdoor dining spaces on Main Street, if weather permits.  Don’t miss out on the Grilled Artichoke starter – a local’s favorite!  Also offered on their dinner menu is a variety of pastas and protein dishes that will suite even the most sophisticated palate!  Find out more at www.cafeterigo.com

Finally, if you’re in the St. Patty’s Day spirit this Saturday, there will be plenty of fun to be had in the Main Street district of Park City.  Each pub and club will host their own rendition of a St. Patty’s Day party for revel rousers to enjoy!  One great St. Pat’s destination is Flanagan’s – a true Irish Pub!  They will be serving Irish fare to warm your belly, and have live music to help you get your Irish jig on!  Another great Irish Pub is Molly Blooms, located in Kimball Junction.  Molly’s will be serving up traditional corned beef and cabbage to delight the all the big and little Leprechaun’s – and, they have over 15 Irish Whiskey’s on tap, for those of you looking for a little more St. Patty’s cheer!  Visit www.mollybloomspc.com and www.flanagansonmain.com to begin planning your St. Patrick’s Day festivities!
