Traveling around during the fall season has plenty of pros: getting to see the fall foliage, cooler temps, and several holidays that will make traveling around school and work easier. Of course, if you have your children they will want to make sure any Halloween plans are still in place even when you are not at home. Kids love to trick-or-treat to gather up all of the candy they can gather. Luckily, your family will still be able to enjoy trick-or-treating when they venture off to Park City. Take a look at the best places your children can Park City trick-or-treat this fall:
Howl O Ween
One of the most popular Halloween events also provides trick-or-treating as an activity each year. We are talking about Howl O Ween, of course, where Historic Main Street is full of both children and friendly dogs in costumes! Historic Main Street is blocked off to local traffic so you and your family can explore the neighborhood without having to worry about cars driving down the street. Howl O Ween takes place on Halloween Day, so you can have a real Halloween celebration with the kids. Participating stores on Main Street will be on hand handing out candy to all costumed youth. As mentioned, this is also a dog friendly event where your loveable canine can show up in costume too. You are sure to find some hilarious outfits for pups who enjoy it just as much as their owners.
Howl O Ween takes place on October 31st from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and is free for all to attend! Since Historic Main Street is closed to traffic you may find it hard to find a parking spot nearby. We highly recommend taking public transportation or park at the China Bridge parking structure that has a flat $15 fee for parking. Guests can also find complimentary parking over at satellite lots by Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain, and Park City School District parking lots.
Trick-or-Treat in Your Neighborhood
Whenever you visit Park City you will marvel at just how beautiful the city is. Each of our vacation rentals can be found all across the city. Some of our properties are found on Historic Main Street in gorgeous luxury condos just steps away from Howl O Ween and other events. This makes it even to just walk over to your next Halloween outing! Or reserve a vacation rental over at Deer Valley Resort where you can find your friendly neighbors possibly handing out candy in this beautiful community. Other vacation rentals are privately owned homes spread out all across the area. Keep an eye out for different neighborhoods with lights on participating in trick-or-treating. Simply reach out to our team with any questions you have about finding an area of town you feel safe to trick-or-treat around.
Celebrate the Spirits 2024
Another family friendly event taking place here in Park City this year is once again the Celebrate the Spirits. This annual event is a two-hour celebration of all things Halloween related. Celebrate the Spirits 2024 is the perfect spot for a little daytime trick-or-treating over at Willow Creek Park. Children are encouraged to arrive dressed up in their favorite costumes and Park City trick-or-treat at the park. Basin Recreation sponsors the event that is great for children of all ages. In addition to trick-or-treating, you will find additional activities including costume contests, fall festive activities, and more. The cost to participate in the trick-or-treating is $15 per child with children 2 and under participating for free. For those who are just attending for the costume contest and other activities no fee is required! Don’t miss out on the Celebrate the Spirits 2024 taking place on October 26th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM over at Willow Creek Park.
