Variety Rules at the Park City Farmer’s Market

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Park City just opened its famous Farmer’s Market for 2014 at the Canyons Ski Resort on June 6. If you missed opening day, don’t worry, because the Park City Farmer’s Market will be back every Wednesday from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. this summer for more fun and frolic.

Each year, Canyons hosts the Park City Farmer’s Market, where you can stop by and enjoy fresh produce, live music, baked breads, and arts and crafts—all from local growers and vendors.

Don’t forget to stop by the Canyons Resort, located just outside of Kimball Junction where you can stock up on some fresh produce, fish, cheeses, and all kinds of baked goods. The fun takes place every Wednesday at the Cabriolet Parking lot. The Cabriolet lift also stays open during the summer season so that people can enjoy shopping and dining around the resort area. This year, the Farmer’s Market will feature over 100 vendors.

Located about five miles up the road from Canyons, Park City also hosts the Park Silly Sunday Market where you can enjoy a full day of fun while strolling up and down historic Main Street.

Beginning on June 21, you can take part in a Reggae Dance Class from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. After that, sit back, relax and enjoy the sounds of BD Howes, The Hauz Performance, and Tony Holliday and the Velvetones on the main stage.

Held every Sunday from June 8 through September 21, the festival takes place between 10:00 a.m., and 5:00 p.m., where you and your family can enjoy plenty of fun outdoor activities, including live music, a farmer’s market, beer gardens, arts and crafts, gourmet foods from local restaurants, and plenty of other fun things to do all day. Your kids will love the free Park Silly Bouncy Houses, Rock on Rock Climbing Wall, and the Hula Hoop Zone.

The Park Silly Sunday Market celebrates its seventh year on Historic Main Street, as a fun, open-air market and street festival, featuring local and regional vendors and artists.

The market features lots of local relics and treasure, live music, and plenty of activities for you and your family. There’s also plenty of discounted lodging available within walking distance of the market where you can find the perfect accommodations for you and your family. Park City also offers free shuttle service from the Park City Mountain Resort area.
