The 4th of July holiday is one of the area’s favorites! It’s full of fun, festivities, and events and activities that will give you memories of a lifetime. Park City prides itself on its patriotic 4th of July festivities, and you are invited to join in the fun!
The day kicks off with a pancake breakfast in the park that will get the day started right. Enjoy pancakes, bacon, and all your breakfast favorites. Also in the morning, there’s a 5k Mountain Fun Run that will take runners through some of the city’s favorite sites.
The 4th of July in Park City parade starts at 11 a.m. at the top of Historic Main Street and winds its way through town to City Park. You’ll enjoy watching bands, colorful floats and all sorts of parade favorites. Join the fun at City Park, where you can spend the day enjoy rugby games, live entertainment, children’s activities, and even a BBQ hosted by the Rotary Club.
Before the fireworks, come to Park City Mountain Resort and take in the beer garden and BBC. There’s even a free concert! The fireworks are scheduled to launch at dusk and are some of the best in the area.

While the main 4th of July activities are the focal point of the holiday, there are plenty of other fun and exciting things to do over the weekend.
Annual Oakley Rodeo and 4th of July in Park City Celebration – July 1-4
Come out to this local rodeo, complete with cowboys, clowns, and rodeo royalty. The rodeo starts each night at 8 p.m.; you should get your tickets early, as they sell out fast!
Deer Valley Music Festival
On July 1, join the crowd at the Snow Park Amphitheater for a patriotic celebration featuring Lisa Vroman and the Utah Symphony for a truly special red, white, and blue celebration.
On July 5, enjoy a special presentation of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, with Utah Symphony violin soloist Madeline Adkins. In addition to the Four Seasons, selections from Respighi and Mozart will be featured.
