Park City New Year’s Eve Celebration at Canyons Village
You can bring in the new year with a dazzling celebration when you spend it at the New Year’s Eve Celebration at Canyons Village. This annual event is always a huge display to welcome the new year with fun for the whole family. Festivities typically kick off in the late afternoon at the Canyons Village Forum, featuring live music from local favorites and family-friendly activities leading up to the fireworks.
You will be able to purchase concessions close by such as hot cocoa to help you stay warm. Once the music has ended you can enjoy a huge fireworks display that will light up the night sky above Canyons Village. Come bring in the New Year’s with style at this returning annual event.
Torchlight Parade
Another great annual event that takes place in Park City each year for New Year’s is the Torchlight Parade happening over at Deer Valley Resort. This returning event is always a fan favorite here in Deer Valley. The annual tradition begins at dusk around 6:00 PM over at Big Stick ski run located on Bald Eagle Mountain. The best way to find it is behind Snow Park Lodge. Here a parade on skis will take place with huge torches that light up the night sky along the slopes.
You will see dazzling displays of fire for a unique and incredible event like no other. Guests will be able to enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, cookies, and cider at Snow Park Plaza up until 7:30 PM. Note that this signature event takes place on December 30th, making it the perfect precursor to your New Year’s Eve plans.
