As you probably know, Park City is a paradise for foodies. You can find just about any world cuisine, from Asian to European and everything in between. It is also where you can find world-class chefs preparing their offerings at high-end establishments from Deer Valley to Park City. And you can also expect to pay a pretty penny at many of these restaurants and eateries. However, what you may not know is that there are many less-expensive, yet delicious restaurants that are favorites. Check out some of our suggestions for Park City cheap eats:
Davanza’s
Davanza’s is the “cool” place to go if you want a casual, fun atmosphere that offers some of the best pizzas and burgers in town. It is a favorite of those just getting off the slopes from a day of skiing or biking to grab a beer and a burger. Check out the other menu items such as the handmade street-style tacos and fresh salads.
El Chubasco
You know it’s a great place to eat when there’s a line of locals! El Chubasco is a perennial favorite among Park City locals with its home-style Mexican offerings. You’ll love the not-often-seen-on-the-menu items such as Costillas de Puerco, Machaca and Camarones a la Diabla. You’ll also find all the regular favorites such as tacos, enchiladas, and tamales. And do not miss the huge salsa bar!
Szechwan Chinese Kitchen
This is a family owned establishment that has been in the Park City area since 1989. This is definitely a restaurant you can go to many times, and each time you will be met with consistent, delicious Chinese offerings. It’s located in the center of Kimball Junction so it is convenient if you are coming off the slopes or doing some shopping at the outlet mall.
Full House
Another Asian themed restaurant in Kimball Junction, Full House offers a large menu of both Chinese and Japanese menu items. You can order your favorite Chinese meal while your buddy orders a Japanese bento box. Take out is available, so it is tasty and convenient.
Freshies
A newcomer to the Park City restaurant scene, Freshies Lobster Co. offers something not often seen this far inland—a full menu of lobster based dishes. The Freshies’ lobster roll has been hailed as one of the best in the country, and you can get it in several sizes from the tourist to the Real Mainah to the XL.
