Bloods Lake Trail

If you are in the mood for a scenic hike that offers some challenge, consider making your way over to Bloods Lake Trail. This 2.8-mile hike will take you in and out right by Park City. Bloods Lake Trail is a moderately challenging hike that will take most hikers between an hour to hour and a half to complete. It is a very popular trail that is frequented during the warmer months of the year. The trail will begin at an elevation over 9,000 feet with minimum gain from there. Dogs are allowed on Bloods Lake Trail while on a leash. The trail will provide unprecedented views of the lake that will further add to your love for Park City. Lackawaxen Lake Trail

The trails are also open during the winter for snowshoeing but trail markers may not be as easy to spot at this time.

Rob’s Trail

This out and back trail is very popular with hiking, mountain biking, and trail running. While the other trails so far have had minimal elevation gain you will actually get a total elevation gain of 1,870 feet on Rob’s Trail. Most hikers take around 4 and a half hours to complete the trek and is best enjoyed in a smaller window during the months of June through September.

Clayton Peak

Some experienced hikers may want to take on a challenge to feel accomplished during their stay in Park City. If this sounds like you consider making your way up Clayton Peak found nearby Bloods Lake Trail. This challenging route is a 5.3-mile out-and-back trail right by Park City and features a total elevation gain of 1,650 feet.
