End of the 2024-2025 Ski Season

Park City is located at a higher elevation that allows the colder weather to keep snow intact on Park City Mountain. The sheer size of the mountain allows the area to feature 40 different ski lifts that will take you to dozens of different ski slopes. Park City Mountain is an ideal destination for experienced skiers and snowboarders as many slopes feature black diamond experienced slopes. There are also a variety of additional slopes too for beginner skiers and those first learning the sport. at over 6,800 feet in elevation you simply cannot find anything else like Park City Mountain close by. Park City Mountain is gearing up for the final day of the ski season that is expected to take place in mid-April. This event will feature the slopes to be open for one final time before they are shut down until November. Park City Wine Festival 2025
The spring season is still nice and cool here in Park City. One of the best ways to stay warm is to check out local restaurants and winery taprooms located around Historic Main Street. Specifically, the Park City Wine Festival takes place twice a year with the spring event taking place in April and the fall event taking place in October.
What makes the Park City Wine Festival so special is that it is a multiday event geared for both wine lovers and food enthusiasts. Over 100 different wineries will be present for this year’s event that takes place all over Park City. The big activity for the event is the Spring Grand Tastings that takes place over two days over at Pendry Plaza. Here, the many wineries will set up booths for wine tastings along with talking about what makes their wine so special. You will get a knowledgeable take on how the process starts with growing grapes all the way to bottling the delicious wine. Sample as much as you can to have a little bit of everything. Food bites will also be handed out to make for a perfect wine and food pairing.
In addition to the Spring Grand Tastings you will also find other Park City April events all weekend long. Many local restaurants will be hosting a wine dinner that has a winery spotlight their tasty wines with a delicious meal. Restaurants participating in these events this year include Butcher’s Chop House & Bar, Goldener Hirsch, KANEO, and Riverhorse on Main. You will also find a variety of lunch events too taking place earlier in the day at KITA, Glitretind Restaurant, and Boneyard Saloon.
