Mountaintop Brews and Tunes
Park City is flanked by majestic peaks that host world-class winter sports, but the summer months are equally vibrant. For a perfect high-altitude Saturday, head to Snowshoe Tommy’s during the months of June through September. Their Mountaintop Brews and Tunes event returns for 2026, featuring a rotating selection of local beer sponsors every Saturday.
The afternoon, our favorite part, includes live sets from regional musicians and a menu of “takeaway-style” fare with à la carte pricing, allowing you to customize your mountaintop meal. To reach the festivities, you’ll need a scenic lift ticket to ride the Sterling Express chairlift up Bald Mountain at Deer Valley Resort. The views from the top are arguably the best pairing for a cold Utah craft beer.
Local Tip: Arrive at the Sterling Express lift by 11:30 AM to snag a table with the best shade before the music starts.
Disney’s “Frozen” – The Live Musical at the Egyptian
The historic Egyptian Theatre on Main Street continues its tradition of bringing high-caliber entertainment to the heart of downtown. While legendary rock bands often grace this stage, this July features a special residency of Disney’s Frozen – The Live Musical.
Presented by the Ziegfeld Theater, this Broadway-scale production brings Elsa and Anna’s story to life from July 8th through July 12th, 2026. With showtimes ranging from evening performances at 7:00 PM to weekend matinees, it is a centerpiece of the summer cultural calendar. Tickets for these iconic theatre seats are highly coveted, so booking in advance is a must.
The Psychedelic Furs Live in Concert
For those looking for an elite musical experience, the Park City Institute is hosting The Psychedelic Furs as part of their “Concerts on the Slopes” series. On Friday, July 31st, 2026, this influential post-punk band will take the stage to perform hits like “Love My Way” and “Pretty In Pink.”
The concert will be held at the Canyons Village at Park City Mountain, offering a stunning outdoor setting for a night of legendary British rock. Doors typically open early to allow fans to enjoy the mountain sunset before the 7:00 PM showtime.
57th Annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival
Park City’s most storied tradition returns this year with the 57th Annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival. From August 7th through 9th, 2026, Historic Main Street transforms into a massive open-air gallery featuring over 200 juror-selected artists from across the globe.
Spanning thirteen different mediums—including glass, metal, and photography—there is something for every collector. Beyond the art, the weekend is packed with live music on multiple stages, interactive kids’ workshops, and a variety of local food trucks and artisan tasting stations.
Early bird tickets are recommended to save on gate prices, which generally start around $15 for adults for a full weekend pass when bought online, though local residents often get free admission on Friday night with a valid ID.
Pro Tip: Use the free Park & Ride at Richardson Flat. Parking on Main Street is closed during the festival, and the shuttle is much faster than searching for a spot.
Park City Song Summit
If you are looking for a more intimate connection with the music industry, the Park City Song Summit is scheduled for August 27th through 29th, 2026. This isn’t your typical loud, crowded festival; it’s an “immersive lab” that focuses on the craft of songwriting and the wellness of the artists.
Held at various venues throughout the city, including Canyons Village, the summit features songwriter rounds, intimate “Lab” discussions, and nightly performances. It’s a unique platform designed to dismantle the barrier between fans and creators, often featuring Grammy-winning artists in surprisingly small settings.
Park Silly Sunday Market
No summer trip to Park City is complete without experiencing the Park Silly Sunday Market. In 2026, this eco-friendly open-air market and street festival runs on select Sundays: June 7, 14, 21, 28; July 12, 19; August 30; and every Sunday in September until the 27th.
From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Lower Main Street comes alive with regional arts, antiques, and a gourmet farmers market. It’s the best place to grab a world-famous Bloody Mary, listen to local buskers, and find one-of-a-kind Utah-made gifts. Just keep in mind that the market takes a brief hiatus in late July and most of August to accommodate other major festivals, so plan your visit accordingly!
Note: Bring a reusable water bottle. The market is a “zero waste” event and offers several free water refill stations throughout the street.
