June Fun in Park City
A favorite event that occurs each June is the annual Savor The Summit dinner, which takes place literally right down the middle of Main Street and is presented by the Park City Area Restaurant Association! This nearly mile-long dining experience allows dining guests a chance to reserve a seat at the participating restaurant of their choice and enjoy an evening of exceptional culinary adventure. This year, the festivities will take place on June 25th at 6 PM. Along with the dining, there will be live street music performances, bee and wine tents, and an after-dinner street dance. The Grande Table meandering it’s way down Main Street really adds something special to the evening, as it will provide exquisite dining for around 2000 guests right in the heart of Park City! Dozens of restaurants participate, so be sure to reserve your space early.
Savor The Summit – A Truly Unique Dining Experience
June also ushers in the weekly Cruiser-Palooza and Plaza-Palooza events which take place at Silver Star Ski & Sport and the Silver Star Cafe. Bring your own bike, or rent a cruiser bike from Silver Star Ski & Sport for a small fee and get ready to ride! The group partakes in a nice and easy ride to a not-so-far location, and then heads back to the Silver Star Plaza to enjoy an evening of food and live music under the stars. Food and music are served up from 6PM-9PM each Thursday evening beginning June 16th and rolling through September, weather permitting. Top the festivities off your evening by staying only steps away at one of the chic and fabulous Silver Star Condominiums. This new slope side community sits amidst stunning mountain views, and offers immediate access to miles and miles of hiking and biking trails. The Silver Star Village has loads going on as well, so you’ll never be at a loss for things to do. Enjoy an Evening Out At Plaza-Palooza
Another great community event in the Park City Silly Market, which begins on June 10th, and takes place each Sunday throughout the summer months. The Silly Market kicks off at 10AM and ties up at 5PM, and there is plenty going on to keep you busy all day long if you choose! Local vendors and farmers line lower Main Street selling their wares and offer everything from custom made leather belts to kids clothes. Aside from the unique shopping, there are numerous food vendors that offer a variety of dining choices including authentic lobster rolls, Navajo tacos, and fresh roasted corn.
