It actually came as no surprise when I read that Conde Nast had named Park City as the friendliest city in America. Our great little hometown was highlight in a slideshow titled “The 2015 Friendliest and Unfriendliest Cities in the U.S.” on CNTraveler.com — a website that reaches more than 2.6 million travel enthusiasts.

And of course, I am well aware of the many great things that caused Conde Nast to say Park City is a “great place that brings city life to outdoor enthusiasts, film geeks and families” as well be a well-known destination complete with a hip culture, a rich history and its exciting party atmosphere.

Readers were asked to rate a city’s friendliness it the third annual Readers’ Choice Awards survey. One of the main points of the survey was asking readers whether they felt welcome on not.

Check out some of the other “friendly” cities that joined Park City:

• Burlington, Vermont
• New Orleans, Louisiana
• Jackson, Wyoming
• Asheville, North Carolina
• Santa Fe, New Mexico
• Austin, Texas
• Nashville, Tennessee
• Charleston, South Carolina
• Savannah, Georgia

Now of course, I’m quite partially to Park City in terms of its warmth and atmosphere. You can find some of the friendliest bar tenders in the world at some favorite watering holes such as The No Name, O’Shucks, and The Spur. You’ll be greeted by smiling faces and great services.

Of course, I would be remiss not to mention the great atmosphere of friendliness you’ll find on the slopes. As you may know, Deer Valley has always been rated at the top in terms of customer service and satisfaction. With the merging of two other resorts — Canyons and Park City Mountain Resort — you are almost certain to get twice the great service!

And who can forget the warm summer months? Not only is our weather extremely “friendly” but there is so much to do, you will find yourself returning to the area again and again to enjoy hiking, biking, fishing and more. And of course, you’ll probably find yourself making new friends while enjoy a wonderful outdoor concert.

At Park City Rental Properties, we pride ourselves in our helpfulness and friendliness that we strive to provide all of our guests. I invite you to come find out for yourself just why Park City was named the “Friendliest City in the United States”!
