Check Out Adventure Park
Park City Mountain Resort is the location of the winter slopes and many of our vacation properties. During the summer, Park City Mountain Resort transforms into something else entirely. You can enjoy a variety of summer activities here at the resort including the Adventure Park. Visitors will find a variety of thrilling rides to enjoy as a family together.
This includes the Mountain Coaster that will have you zipping around an alpine track high up in the trees. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a scenic chairlift ride that will provide you with unparalleled views of the valley. The Alpine Slide is a luge experience done in the summer so you can feel like you just participated at the Olympics. Tickets for each activity may be separate. Adventure Park admission is open daily during the summer season making it easy to check out.
Enjoy a Round of Golf
One Park City summer must that you need to experience is a round of golf. With the town located in the middle of a valley you will have unbelievable views during your game. The greens at the local courses are always a pristine green offering incredible conditions during the game. If you prefer a narrow and challenging golf course, head over to Canyons Golf, which officially opens for the 2026 season on May 22.
Or check out Park City Golf Course for a public course that has mountain views in the background. Park Meadows Country Club is a local private club with a great onsite restaurant to enjoy before or after your tee time. If you enjoy golf, Park City will have plenty to offer you.
Check Out the Park Silly Sunday Market
If you enjoy spending time at a local farmers market, you will be in for a treat in Park City. Our town offers the weekly Park Silly Sunday Market. This local market is available on 11 select Sundays in 2026: June 7, 14, 21, 28; July 12, 19; August 30; and September 6, 13, 20, 27.
You will find a variety of local vendors and farmers setting up along Historic Main Street offering unique wares found nowhere else. Pick up fresh produce to prepare with your dinner at your vacation rental. There is a little something for everyone here at Park Silly Sunday Market.
Fourth of July Celebrations
If your summer Park City getaway overlaps with the Fourth of July, you will find plenty of exciting events to celebrate with. We take the Fourth of July seriously here in Park City and it all starts with the Fourth of July Parade and Celebration. This event takes place on the holiday itself from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for all kinds of activities.
The parade is one of the largest in the state and will march through Historic Main Street. Year’s past has also provided fun activities for kids before the event comes to a close that evening with a dazzling drone show at Park City Mountain, which offers the best viewing alongside City Park and Lower Main Street.
Park City Mountain Resort also puts on a variety of incredible activities too with their own celebration. Regardless of what vacation rental you have booked with us there will be a Fourth of July celebration for you to enjoy.
Deer Valley Concert Series
The summer season is also known to be a great time of year for music festivals as the weather is perfect. You will find the Deer Valley Concert Series taking place each summer in Park City. This annual concert series sees a variety of artists take to the stage at Deer Valley Resort for weekends full of live music.
