Located mid-mountain in the shadow of Deer Valley’s Bald Mountain, is the lovely and secluded Silver Lake Village with its central feature: the Silver Lake Lodge. The lodge sits at an elevation of 8,100 feet and offers gorgeous views to those looking for something different from the usual vacation rentals in Park City.
Silver Lake Village is actually considered its own community and offers residents wonderful dining and shopping options. One of Deer Valley’s best known skier destinations is located in Silver Lake — the legendary McHenry’s Beach, where skiers can enjoy food, drinks, and soaking up a few rays between runs.

Offering a Variety of Homes and Vacation Rentals in Park City
With so many communities, you can be sure to find a vacation residence that will suit the needs of your traveling party. Knowing that they are a part of the Park City Rental Properties family gives you the assurance that they will all be special! Offering luxury amenities in most, such as fireplaces, deep tubs, and high-end appliances in fully-equipped kitchens, and comfortable furnishings, million-dollar views, and locations that are close to the excitement of the downtown area, you’re sure to feel at home and welcomed in whichever property you choose!
Our Second Favorite Part of Vacationing
Traveling to new places is an exciting activity, and one of our favorite parts of vacations is tasting the foods of the region we are visiting: Mexican food in Arizona, crepes in Paris, and steak in Texas. When you visit Park City, however, there’s not just one food type that you absolutely must try, but a cosmopolitan blend of the best in the nation—some would even say the world! Some of our favorite restaurants include the following:
- The Mariposa, 7600 Royal Street Suite 305 – American food and a wine menu you’ll love.
- Royal Street Café, 7600 Royal Street Suite 301 – Café food with an innovative twist.
- Bald Mountain Pizza
- Silver Lake Restaurant, 7600 Royal Street – Comfort food that feeds your soul and belly.
These restaurants offer everything from refined high-end cuisine to hearty après ski offerings.
You will also find shopping opportunities at a variety of high-end boutiques and recreational stores. If you’re looking to rent your skis rather than carry them with you, there are three wonderful stores in the Silver Lake. Ski n’ See, 7815 Royal Street, is a popular choice, but all establishments provide excellent service!
Close to Downtown Park City
The Silver Lake area is also just a few minutes from downtown Historic Main Street, where you’ll find a wealth of dining, shopping, and entertainment. Spend some time buying something glittery for the woman in your life at Baranof Jewelers, 523 Main Street, or pick up a warm jacket from Marmot just a few stores down; our winter visitors are often surprised at how cold Park City can get at night! The downtown area is a mecca of fine dining restaurants, but if you just want a burger and a beer, Collie’s Sports Bar & Grill at 738 Main Street will fit the bill just fine! Our close knit communities mean that from Silver Lake, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy all that the Deer Valley and Park City areas offer when you stay in our vacation rentals in Park City!
