If you are visiting Park City during October, there are plenty of Park City Halloween festivities to enjoy, including trick-or-treating in the historic downtown area and spooky ghost tours.

Park City Ghost Tour

Park City Ghost Tour offers historical tours of downtown Park City. The tours take you through the history of Park City, pointing out historical buildings and locations where there have been many paranormal reports and sightings. The tour guides dress up in outfits from the 1800s to add to the ambiance of the tour. Tours are held every night in October and tickets can be purchased from guides at the beginning of the tour. Tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for children 16 and under.

Free Screening of Frankenweenie

Park City Film Series, a single-screen art film house in the heart of downtown is showing a free screening of Frankenweenie on October 27 at 4 p.m. Frankenweenie is an animated comedy by Tim Burton. The film follows a little boy who tries to bring his beloved dog back to life.

Park City Halloween on Historic Main Street

Main Street is closed down for the afternoon and evening on Halloween, so clowns, ghosts, and witches can walk the streets. From 3 – 5 p.m. shops along the street hand out candy to little ghosts and ghouls. At 5 p.m. is the famous Howl-o-Ween parade. Leashed, costumed dogs and their owners will march down Heber Avenue for the parade. Parking can be hard to find, so it is a good idea to arrive early.

Crawl-o-Ween

If you are looking for some adult Halloween fun, check out the Park City Halloween-themed bar crawl. This bar crawl, called “A Nightmare on Main Street,” will lead the group around downtown to different bars. Participants can go at their own pace, and each bar will have drink specials for the pub crawl. The pub crawl will be held on Thursday, October 11 from 8 p.m. – 11 p.m. Early bird tickets start at $20 and include a signature bar crawl shirt, a free welcome drink at registration, two free drink tickets, a souvenir button, and drink specials at each bar the crawl stops at.
