There’s Always Something to Toast in Park City!

Staying within the culinary theme, we are fortunate to have the Fox School of Wine holding classes in Park City on weekends.  Classes are offered Friday and Saturday nights (except holidays) from 6:15-7:00 p.m. at the Silver Baron Lodge in lower Deer Valley. (2880 Deer Valley Dr., East, Park City, Utah) Class is $25 per person with a maximum of 20 people.  During each class we taste five wines, each under $30 per bottle, studying many aspects of the wine including growing region, grape characteristics, wine labels, and vocabulary. Student participation is highly encouraged. At the end of the class, the students grade the wines and learn pricing and critics’ ratings, Classes sell out so sign up early! Coming up on March 10th is the  annual Round Valley Round Up.  The Roundup is a 5K, 20K, and 40K community based cross-country ski event designed to encourage skiers of all levels to participate. Pro level skiers will find it fast, amateur racers a great challenge, and life style skiers a tick on the bucket list. The race will be a one or two lap event, easy up hill grades, fun downhills, and totally spectator friendly.  In addition to racing, the day will be filled with festivities for everyone. Participants and spectators can take part in clinics, learn about and/or tryout the latest technology in our sponsor village. Perhaps you’re looking for a little more adventure?  ParkCity Powder Cats may be exactly what you’re looking for!
