Park City is a town where something wonderful is always happening and there’s never a lack of things to do, and its proximity to Salt Lake City expands your options even more! Hop in your rental car, load up on road snacks, and prepare for a day of fun and exploration starting with a tour of the Utah State Capital Building, located at 350 State Street in Salt Lake City. Built in 1912, this majestic building bears a slight resemblance to the US Capital and offers free guided tours that begin at the top of every hour from 9AM until 4PM, Monday through Friday. Lunch at the Red Iguana, 736 W North Temple, is a special treat. Serving hot and spicy Mexican dishes and Killer Margaritas (it says so right on the menu!), it’s a local favorite. After lunch, an afternoon exploring the Hogle Zoo is an activity that is fun for everyone; you don’t have to be a parent to enjoy the wild animals on display! After an extended dinner at The Dodo, 1355 E 2100 S (The Dodo’s known for its sweet desserts, so be sure to save room!), it’s time to hop back in the car for the 39-minute drive back to your Fox Bay escape and a night of deep and peaceful sleep.
