The Jordanelle area is adjacent to the spectacular Jordanelle Reservoir, a hot spot for water sports of all kinds! The Jordanelle is home to weekly events hosted by Park City Stand Up Paddle Boarding, the Park City Sailing Club, and of course lots of people enjoying wave runners, wakeboarding, water skiing, and just lounging in the state park surrounding the water. It’s a favorite spot for fishing as well. You’ll find the water dappled with early risers every morning, hoping to catch that evening’s dinner! The Jordanelle area is one of the fastest growing spots in Park City with new real estate developments popping up at a frequent pace. Deer Valley looms overhead, creating a stunning vista from any angle. The main exit accessing the Jordanelle area is the Mayflower exit. From here, you can take advantage of the main Jordanelle marina, as well as the condominium and townhome developments on the water’s edge. It is also where guests can access the Jordanelle Gondola which gives skiers a direct “flight” to the Deer Valley ski resort. On the opposite side of the Jordanelle rentals there are a few other new developments. Here you’ll find a couple of pristine and quite new golf courses with amazing views of the water below. Closed during the winter when conditions can make the gravel portion of the road difficult and unsafe to navigate, during the fall the vibrant beauty of the trees dressed in their autumn finest makes it a drive you won’t want to miss out on. Easily reached via SR-224, this 14-mile stretch of road is also an extremely popular route during the spring and summer when the wildflowers come into bloom.
