No Name Saloon & Grill remains a 21+ favorite, offering their legendary buffalo burgers and a complimentary Thanksgiving buffet (while supplies last) starting in the afternoon.
Flanagan’s on Main also offers a casual space with a traditional Thanksgiving meal that includes turkey, potatoes, pumpkin bread pudding, and more; kids get to enjoy the meal at a discount rate too! Butcher’s Chop House offers the classic steak house selection along with a class turkey dinner with all the expected trimmings.
Powder at Waldorf Astoria provides a high-end experience; for 2025/2026, expect a lavish buffet featuring house-roasted turkey and prime rib carving stations from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Having a reservation at the more traditional restaurants is encouraged to ensure a spot at a table on Thanksgiving Day.

No Thanksgiving is ever complete without a Turkey Trot to help you get through the day. The Park City Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving morning where you can enjoy a 5K at your own pace. Participants are encouraged to walk, jog, or run so they can feel inspired to dig into a delicious feast later in the day.
The event is put on by the Christian Center of Park City, takes place at Matt Knoop Memorial Park, and begins at 9:00 a.m. The Park City Turkey Trot is free to attend with participants encouraged to provide a canned food item to donate.
Enjoy Park City Mountain
Park City is perhaps the biggest winter attraction in all of Utah during the winter for its incredible skiing conditions. Park City Mountain is a top contender for best ski mountain when you visit for Thanksgiving you will be just in time for the season opening.
Park City Mountain typically kicks off the winter season in mid-November. For the 2025/2026 season, the mountain is scheduled to operate from December 5, 2025, through April 5, 2026, though early openings can occur depending on snowfall.
This year will be Park City Mountain’s 60th anniversary with a variety of special events and activities taking place during the season. The mountain saw record breaking snowfall this past spring that allowed for a longer season than usual. This gives locals hopes that we will be in for another incredible season with plenty of snow already on the mountain by the time Thanksgiving arrives.
Park City Mountain offers introductory lessons to help you become a professional on a snowboard or pair of skis. The onsite rental shop lets you rent out some of the best gear for the day, so you do not have to bring anything from home. Passes for the season are already on sale so make sure to plan ahead before you arrive for Thanksgiving!
