Park City 4^th of July Parade and Celebration 2026

If you are coming to Park City this summer to enjoy a lively 4^th of July celebration, then you will be satisfied with this year’s 4^th of July Parade and Celebration taking place on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Each year the Park City Municipal Corporation hosts an incredible event that is perfect for individuals of all ages.

The 4^th of July Celebration is an all day affair that starts in the morning and does not end until it is dark outside. Start your 4^th of July Celebration at City Park where you can enjoy a pancake breakfast. This has been a city staple for years and is always a favorite for the community.

Make sure to show up hungry as there will be plenty to go around. After you have had your fair share of pancakes you can prepare for the 5K Fun Run starting at 8:00 am. This race is a great way to kick start your 4^th of July as there will be plenty of runners in their patriotic attire or in full costume. The 5K race is perfect for individuals of all ages who wish to walk or run.

Next up on the agenda is the 4^th of July Parade starting at 11:00 am. This parade is huge and goes down Main Street in Downtown Park City. You will see plenty of historic vehicles, patriotic, floats and much more on display in this local favorite. The parade is always a major attraction so make sure you find a great viewing area along the route well before it begins. The parade starts at the top of Main Street before it heads down and turns left onto 9^th Street and past the Town Lift.

If you want to join the procession, remember that parade applications for 2026 open in May and must be submitted by June 14, 2026.

The free public transit is a great way to get to Main Street before the parade as many of the usual parking spaces will be closed or taken up. Stick around Main Street after the parade has ended to browse the shops or find somewhere to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, the event will run for the remainder of the day over at City Park starting at noon.

Here visitors will be able to enjoy live music and refreshments along with a volleyball tournament, rugby games, and children’s activities. You have never seen so many activities offered on a 4^th of July Celebration before. Don’t miss out on all the fun here in Park City!

4^th of July Drone Show

The celebration culminates with a spectacular drone show at Park City Mountain, which has become a beloved local tradition to protect our surrounding forests from fire risks. Park City has been at risk of forest fire over the past few summers making traditional fireworks a hazard for wildlife. While we no longer offer a traditional fireworks celebration you can see a stunning drone show that will provide an equally entertaining option.

This drone show will take place after the daily festivities have ended. Expect to see a stunning performance in the night sky complete with patriotic colors, displays, and much more. Drone shows are a wonderful way to enjoy a nightly 4^th of July celebration to ensure the tradition of fireworks continues in some capacity.
