Hit the Trails
While the trails are covered with snow and turned into ski slopes in the winter the summer season opens everything up again for some thrilling outdoor adventures. This includes mountain biking across the 450 miles of Gold Level trails that Park City has to offer. Many of the mountain biking trails in Park City are rated intermediate to difficult making them perfect for experienced mountain bikers. Trails such as OG Park City IMBA Epic are known for incredible views and thrilling trails. Most trails will start out throughout forested terrain before taking you up to mountainsides and ridges that allow you to take in the whole valley. Many of the trails are lengthy so be prepared to be on the trail for most of the day if you plan on completing the whole trail.
Visit High West Distillery
While Cinco de Mayo is typically celebrated with a beer or margarita in hand you can mix things up when visiting Park City. Instead of a cerveza, stop by High West Distillery for some of the finest spirits and whiskey that Utah has to offer. The High West Saloon available in Park City allows you to try a little bit of everything from their selection of fine whiskeys and spirits. Try out a tasting flight that serves a small sample so you can try out the different aromas and flavors present with each one. If you prefer a cocktail they can also prepare a mixed drink instead. Try out classics such as Old Fashioned among others. The saloon also features a variety of food too to enjoy. The menu includes fine American grub such as burgers, deviled eggs, charcuterie boards, tacos, poutine, wings, and so much more. The High West Saloon is open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM for lunch and dinner. Make sure to grab a bottle of their award-winning whiskey to take back to your vacation rental if the party continues after they close!
Visit the Utah Olympic Park
Park City was the home to the 2022 Winter Olympics and the Utah Olympic Park has become a staple among Park City since then. During the winter the Utah Olympic Park is known to host a variety of workshops to help perfect your skiing and snowboarding. During the month of May and the remainder of summer, the Utah Olympic Park hosts a variety of fun activities. Try out the zip line tour that will take you down thrilling zip lines above the treetops. The jumpside pass is a perfect activity for children as they slide down huge hills. The summer bobsled lets you feel like an Olympic bobsled athlete as you shoot down the concrete tubes from your bobsled. Celebrate Park City Cinco de Mayo with Mexican Cuisine
Park City does feature its fair share of Mexican restaurants that offer authentic Mexican cuisine to enjoy. Chimayo is your fine dining establishment for all things luxury Southwestern eating. Chimayo is located inside a vibrant eatery that is warmly decorated and even features a fireplace. Delicious entrees on the menu include fajitas, enchiladas, sea scallops, London broil, barbacoa, and much more. They serve a delicious array of cocktails including margaritas and also a variety of wines too. There is nothing bad on the menu!
