Winter Journey To Park City

HomeJourneys To Park CityWinter Journey To Park City

Park City is a beautiful town to visit every season of the year, but in the winter, when snow blankets the ground and the streets and slopes fill with people dressed in their colorful finest, our mountain village shines its brightest. If you’re planning a winter journey to Utah, this helpful guide will ensure you experience the best Park City Utah winter activities. Be sure to pack some warm clothes, though; it gets a little chilly when winter comes to Park City!

Day 1: Surprise!

We’re not going to start with the activity most people think about when they dream of visiting Park City. Instead, we’re going to begin your journey with the dogs. All Seasons Adventures is home to a friendly band of canines whose life mission involves carting you and your family around on sleds through the snow! Available until March 9th, when the temperatures start to rise, your friends back home will be green with envy when they see the pictures!

Day 2: The Anticipation Builds

Of course, you could always go rogue and start planning your Park City Utah winter activities on your own, but what’s the fun in that? Day two adventures will shine when you take part in another All Seasons Adventures tour, the Moonlight Dinner Snowshoe Tour. Offering training for novices, this tour costs $75 and ends with a dinner at one of the best restaurants in Deer Valley.

Day 3: Park City Utah Winter Activities

Ok, we’re not going to make you wait another minute for your day on the slopes! Park City offers one of the largest areas of skiable terrain in the United States, and you have the choice of spending your day at Park City Ski Resort or Deer Valley Ski Resort. Featuring snowboarding, skiing, and night skiing opportunities at Park City Ski Resort and skiing only at Deer Valley, lift tickets can be purchased online at either resort’s website.

Day 4: In a 2 Horse Open Sleigh

Romance is in the air as your winter dream comes true: Enjoy a sleigh ride through the snowy fields, cuddling under blankets as you fight the chill in the air. Boulder Mountain Ranch offers the perfect winter experience for a night of magical memories. Thinking of popping the question? There won’t be a more romantic opportunity!

Day 5: Be a Child Again

If you grew up in snow country, you remember long days spent sledding down the hills in your neighborhood, and if your parents couldn’t afford sleds, it didn’t matter; you used pieces of cardboard until they became a wet and mushy mess! Today, your winter journey to Park City allows you to experience those childhood days again with a visit to the New Overland Trailhead Sledding Hill for a trip (ride?) down memory lane!

Day 6: Fine Dining

Although the restaurants you will discover in Park City stay the same every season, we still want to offer you the option of a fine dining experience during your winter stay. You’ll build up a hearty appetite after your day in the bracing mountain air, and Firewood, located at 306 Main Street, fills the empty corners of your stomach with style. Warm, elegant, and offering the kind of meals that stick to your ribs, you can’t go wrong with their excellent prepared meals cooked over a wood fire—hence the name!

Day 7: As the Sun Sets Over Your Winter Journey to Park City

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy your last day in paradise to the fullest—especially if you decide to stay in and play! Sleep late in our cloud soft beds, play board games with your family in front of a roaring fire, and finish off your journey with a farewell toast to your Park City Vacation Rentals luxury escape from the hot tub on the deck. Reserve your stay with us today in one of our Christmas vacation rentals!
