Sometimes, we could all use a little shot of youthful energy and imagination. The Kimball Art Center will open the annual Wasatch Back Student Art Show on April 14th, through May 27th. This is one of Kimball’s most popular exhibits each year, and offers art lovers a chance to view local kids’ art in a gallery setting. All of the Park City schools participate, as well as other Summit County schools and the exhibit grows each year. Last year there was over 350 pieces of art on display that were created by over 500 students. The students were given a theme to work with, and interpret as they wish. This year the theme is “Everyday Art”, and the goal of this theme was to have students look at everyday items as art, to see the art all around them. Not a bad piece of advice really, especially when you’re visiting a place as beautiful as Park City, Utah! Check out further details at www.kimballartcenter.org .
