Start your 4th of July celebration over at the Historic Main Street for a Pancake Breakfast, 4th of July Parade, 5k Mountain Fun Run, and a giant celebration in City Park. As the sun sets you can catch an unbelievable fireworks display that begins at dusk from the Park City Mountain Resort. While the fireworks might be viewable from back downtown, you will have an up-close-and-personal view of the fireworks display from up above. Your children will be in awe of how close they will feel to the bright lights exploding across the sky. The adults will have just as much fun with a generous selection of freshly prepared BBQ and a beer garden that keeps the drinks flowing. The kids will also have plenty of exciting activities to keep themselves busy with while waiting for the fireworks display to start. The golf course found on the resort is another great spot if you are looking for a more quiet setting.
The locals in Park City have a secret viewing spot of the Park City Mountain Resort firework display that cannot be beat over in the Aerie subdivision. This cozy neighborhood can be found just off Deer Valley Drive and gives you an unprecedented view of the fireworks display.
Spence Eccles Olympic Freestyle Pool
For those who are 18 and older and looking to add a little adventure to their 4th of July festivities, join the Slip ‘n Soar event happening over at the Olympic Freestyle Pool. This event showcases live music along with food and beverages while you enjoy the water ramps set up in the pool. The event starts at 5:00pm and let’s you enjoy all of the exciting watersports before the fireworks displays begin later that night.

City Park Hosts Annual Pancake Breakfast
Start the day off right with a pancake breakfast. City Park is the venue for this annual breakfast, and for a small fee you and your family can enjoy breakfast favorites including pancakes, bacon, and other breakfast staples.
5K Mountain Fun Run
This annual Fun Run is sponsored by Cole Sport and is a great way to start the day. This race is a benefit for the Park City Ski Team and is a fun race for runners of all ages and abilities. Your registration fees include a T-shirt, and there will also be giveaways and prizes.
Traditional Park City 4th of July Parade
This annual favorite starts at the top of Main Street and winds its way to City Park and will include floats, bands, horses, and so much more Park City flavor. The parade starts and 11 a.m. and you won’t want to miss the fly-over by jets from Hill Air Force Base.
City Park Celebration
After the parade, join the crowds in City Park for a day filled with live music, rugby games, food, and a lot of fun! Festivities start at 10 a.m. and continue throughout the day.
Old Fashioned Rodeo
Travel just a few miles to Oakley and enjoy a 4th of July rodeo complete with rodeo queens, bronco bustin’, roping, and all the festivities! And of course, there’s plenty of food and drink to enjoy!
