All the Action and Adventure in Park City
Many people will imagine that coming to Park City means that you eat, drink and even breathe skiing and snowboarding on the white slopes without room for any other activity. Flying the down the bobsled track or racing across the snow in skis are all wonderful but Park City has much more action and adventure that wait your savoring. If you are not the very adventurous type then you will want to do stuff like snowmobiling and tubing at the Gorgoza Park.
Once you come to Park City you are at the center of world class fun because it is a premier tourist destination. You may want to try other fun activities such as dog sledding, fly fishing, snow shoeing, sleigh rides and once in a while there is the hot air balloon that will thrill your entire family as you hover over trees and watch a scenic view below. You may want to use the power of your own legs and go up the hills and valleys in an experience of cross country skiing. Even though most people associate dog sleds with Alaska you will experience the same at the Park City resort and you will for sure enjoy the experience.
Those who are not afraid of heights can give a trial to the best of outback skiing and if you have the gut to give it a shot then Heli skiing is the game that awaits you. You get out of your way to skip the lines and climb into a helicopter. You may also want to try ice skating in one of the open air ice skating rinks that is found at the resort center. Your kids will have so much fun in such an outing as they spend a memorable evening on the ice. If you do not own your skates you don’t have to worry because you can actually rent them by the hour and have all the action and adventure you came to experience.
More thrill awaits you at the Park City Winter Sports Park where you can get to use the same facilities as those used by the Olympic teams in 2002 as they competed for world recognition. The beginners can actually get instructions in the ski play area and for those who may not have the guts to take it in then they can become spectators and do all the laughing and screaming. Those who are religious will be glad to know that there is a Sunday Service which is non-denominational at 1:30 pm every Sunday at the Loran Larsen Park.
