Park City Snowboarding

HomeWinter ActivitiesPark City Snowboarding

Now that winter has arrived, many a young person’s thoughts turn to that most favored Park City activity; snowboarding on the slopes of the mountains that surround our mountain village! We admit, when we were younger and in far better shape than we are now, our favorite winter activity involved goggles and two skis, but we’re open; snowboarding looks, and is, to be a sport we can truly enjoy! Once you get past the realization that you have no poles for crutches and your feet must line up on the single board, you can relax, become one with the snowboard, and enjoy the rush of boning out, carving, and perfecting your eggplant! Here’s some tips on how to have the time of your life during your Park City snowboarding vacation!

You Can’t Shred with Park City Utah Snowboarding if You Don’t Have the Equipment!

Chances are you aren’t going to bring a snowboard in your carry-on, so finding a good shop to rent your equipment is a necessity. It’s always difficult finding places you can trust in a new city, but because you have Park City Vacation Rentals as your Ace in the Hole, trustworthiness is not going to be an issue. Park City Sport on Main, located at 738 Main Street is one of our favorites. Offering more than just rental equipment and situated right across from the Town Lift, PCP on Main allows you to store your equipment, rent your equipment, and purchase the latest skiing and snowboarding accessories available on the market. Breeze Ski Rentals at 1415 Lowell Avenue is another local favorite, offering multiple pick-up locations throughout the town, so you’re sure to find one near your luxurious and cozy Park City Vacation Rental; no need to travel far for your snowboarding equipment and accessories. And for those that care, only the best name brands are available at any of their locations!

Now That You’re Equipped and Loaded

It’s time to hit the slopes! The two main ski resorts (originally there were three, but Park City Resort and Canyons Resort joined together to become one of the largest resorts in the nation) in town are vastly different; Deer Valley Resort is for skiers only, so we will skip over this one, and merge into Park City Mountain Resort. Constructed on over 7300 acres of land and 300 plus trails, the 6 natural half pipes, 1 super pipe, and 1 mini pipe make combine to make a great place to play and learn. Offering Park City Utah snowboarding and ski lessons to people of all ages and skill levels, Park City’s largest ski resort is the perfect place to learn to snowboard or to simply refresh your skills.
