What’s going on at Deer Valley in the summer? well, first of all, the Royal Street Cafe will be opening, a favorite of hikers, mountain bikers, or those just looking for delicious food and a fantastic view. Royal Street is located mid-mountain in the Silver Lake Lodge and offers award winning dining along with a splendid deck offering amazing views, and is open for lunch daily. Roayl Street is offering a bounce back offer this summer as well; when you purchase a $13 one-time ride on the Silver Lake Express chairlift, and then enjoy lunch at Royal Street, you will recieve a free lift voucher that can be redeemed for a single scenic chairlift ride ticket any day of the 2012 summer season. How fun is that? When at Royal Street, I recommend you try their Asian Chicken Salad – a great summer lunch! When you’re done with lunch, grab a carrot cake cupcake for the road, grab your mountain bike, and head back to the extensive trails at Deer Valley!
Mountain Biking at Deer Valley
Speaking of mountain biking, Deer Valley offers miles of amazing trails to bike on. They offer lift serviced mountain bike trails as well, so if you prefer the “down” to the “up”, you can sit back, relax and enjoy the easy ride up the chairlift while you ready yourself for the adrenaline rush of cruising back down the mountain! They offer trails for all levels of rider as well, so bring the whole family! Of course, for those who prefer not to bike, you can ride the Silver Mountain Chair up, enjoy the spectacular views, hike around a little, and head back down on the chair. There is truly something for every ability level at Deer Valley!
