4th of July Celebration & Fireworks
Most destinations you visit have some sort of extravagant Fourth of July celebration. Having a huge celebration is worthy of our nation’s holiday and Park City does it no differently. Our Fourth of July celebration is always looked forward to by both locals and visitors. Each year, the Fourth of July celebration offers a full day of activities for the whole family to enjoy. The Fourth of July Parade always kicks off the fun at 11:00 AM that marches down Historic Main Street and the rest of Downtown Park City.
The fun moves over to City Park and Skate Park, where you will find a variety of kids games, food trucks and vendors, live music, and rugby. Last year other venues across the city joined in on the fun too. Canyons Village hosted their Forum Fest and the Oakley Rodeo was held at different times during the day. Park City Mountain sponsors a Park City Fourth of July Volleyball Tournament for visitors to join in on the fun with. The Fourth of July celebration comes to a close at 10:00 PM when the city drone show takes place. Come see drones light up the night sky with a dazzling display of patriotic colors. You have never experienced the Fourth of July quite like this. The 2024 details are still being finalized but expect the same activities here in the city.
Latino Arts Festival
Come experience a celebration of Latino and Hispanic cultures from Central and South America at the annual Latino Arts Festival. This local festival takes place each summer at Canyons Village at Park City Mountain Resort. Guests will be able to experience incredible works of art from Latino artists that range from all over the continent. The visual presentation of the festival is a sight to behold and is full of dazzling colors and demonstrations. The event is absolutely free to attend and has become a popular event for those who wish to experience a visual presentation like no other. The 2024 Latino Arts Festival will take place June 14th through the 16th this summer at Canyons Village.
Park Silly Sunday Market
Each summer, Park City is home to the annual Park Silly Sunday Market throughout the season. Visitors will be able to find this popular farmers’ market located on Historic Main Street in Downtown Park City. Countless vendors and farmers will be on hand selling fresh produce, local goods, arts, crafts, and much more. The Park Silly Sunday Market never takes itself too serious and instead celebrates the joy of summer. Enjoy live music and a beer garden for the adults. Enjoying the Park Silly Sunday Market is absolutely free, so make sure to bring the whole family.
The open street layout makes it ideal for you to find your new favorite local artist or enjoy delicious food from local vendors. Over 2.8 million people have enjoyed the market over the years and it continues to be a mainstay for Park City. The Park Silly Sunday Market will kick off on June 2nd this year and finish up the summer season on September 22nd. There are no markets on July 7th, July 28th, or any Sunday in August.
Summer Concert Series at Deer Valley
Each summer, Deer Valley hosts the Summer Concert Series for a season of incredible live music. Enjoy a spot on the spacious lawn area where you can see the show. This year’s lineup includes artists Ziggy Marley, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Michael Franti & Spearhead, and many more. Individual tickets are available for purchase for each show allowing you to plan your visit to the summer concert series. Live music always goes hand and hand with the summer season in Park City.
