Halloween on Historic Main Street

The most cherished and popular Halloween event in Park City each year is the Halloween on Historic Main Street. This annual event is a beloved city event that brings out everyone for a day full of ghoulish fun and family-friendly activities. This year’s event will take place on Monday October 30th for several hours of fun in the afternoon. From 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm participating merchants on Historic Main Street will be handing out candy to all the little costumed children. Friendly dogs on a leash are also encouraged to join in on the fun too in their best costume. You can expect to see many of the locals and visitors in the area at this event making it a popular destination. Historic Main Street traffic will be shut down starting at 2:00 pm for the event. Plenty of free parking is available nearby but will fill up quick. Visitors are encouraged to walk to the event if possible. Come join this Park City custom we have each year for Halloween!

Scarecrow Festival

The season of Halloween lasts all month long here in Park City. If you find yourself in the area early in the fall season you will not want to pass up on the Scarecrow Festival taking place on Saturday September 30th. This annual event is a local favorite and will be held at McPolin Farm here in the area. Guests will be able to build their very own scarecrow and have it put up for display for all to see. Some of the material is provided to you at the event including stuffing and support for the trail. Visitors will need to bring their own accessories including the head, shoes, clothing, props, and anything else fun that you want your scarecrow to have. Visitors can purchase the non-event tickets that include the scarecrow materials for $20 per person. Or check out the event tickets that include the scarecrow materials along with face painting, pumpkin painting, cider, cookies, and much more; event tickets are sold at $40 per person. Scarecrow Festival will be taking place on Saturday September 30th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
