Located in just east of Park City, the NAC offers many different types of  sports and recreational offering such as horseback riding, swimming, cycling, canoeing, fishing and water skiing programs. Additionally, other programs offered by the Center include challenge and rope courses and outdoor educational trips throughout the summer and fall months.

The Center’s primary commitment is delivering athletic and recreational programs for those with disabilities — individuals who many be limited in their experience because of the lack accessible programs, instruction and equipment.

Through the NAC, individuals have the opportunity to participate in a number of activities, utilization of adaptive equipment, and experiences with specially trained instructors and volunteer assistants.

The Center emphasizes the involvement of family members and peers, so many NAC activities are integrated with disabled and non-disabled clients. This encourages social interaction, as well as the break down of barriers. Whether you have a disability or not, you can become involved with the NAC in many ways.

Considering experiencing a trail ride on the hills surrounding the Center’s 26-acre ranch, or sign up for riding lessons. Grab a bike and experience one of the exciting cycling outings. Volunteer to assist a visually impaired cyclist on a tandem bike. Become a peer partner or volunteer to assist in activities such as horseback riding or swimming.

You can even give the NAC a call about the availability of lessons. If there is an available opening, the Center is happy to include non-disabled individuals in the many instructional offerings.

The Center is located on the 26-acre Recreation Center and Ranch at Quinn’s Junction, at the intersection of Highways 40 and 248 just east of Park City. The Ranch includes a universal challenge course, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, a network of trails and much more.
