One of the worst things that can happen during any vacation getaway is having a day with bad weather and not having any backup activities planned out. We cannot control the weather and Park City can see its fair share of rain and bad weather days just like any other travel destination. However, Park City has a variety of ways you can still enjoy your vacation in the area with some Park City indoor activities. Take a look at some of our favorite indoor activities that will make for a great time here in Park City:

Escape Room Park City

Whether you are looking to hide from the weather or enjoy a mind-puzzling adventure Escape Room Park City has you covered. If you have never experienced an escape room before you will be in for quite the treat. Escape rooms are themed rooms where you and your family or friends are locked inside. You will have an hour to solve brain-tingling puzzles that will lead you to your eventual escape. You will find that each room has a unique theme that makes each visit different than the last. Try out The Mine Trap where your “tour” in a silver mine is interrupted and the entrance has collapsed. This escape room is perfect for 4 to 10 players as it is bigger in size and is the signature room of Escape Room Park City. Smaller groups will love The Parlor, a whodunit that is designed for adults. Pirate Booty is the most recent addition to Escape Room Park City that has you solving clues to find the buried treasure. Additional rooms are open throughout the seasons so make sure to always check back during return visits to Park City and see what has changed. You can book your escape room activities in advance by calling 435-604-0556.

The Dungeon has you visiting the original jail cell that was used back in the town’s original days. The Skier Subway Theater has you entering an original ski car where you can watch an educational film about how Park City transitioned from mining to skiing. These are just a few of the many permanent exhibits you can find. There are also several rotating exhibits that are only open for certain seasons of the year. These often feature national exhibits that come from renowned institutions such as the Smithsonian.
