Things to Do in Park City during the Summer

Despite popular belief, Park City is a very enjoyable place no matter what season of year it is, even though it is primarily billed as a winter wonderland. With a host of fun outdoor activities, as well as many events put on throughout the summer, any trip to Park City is fun, even if it is during the summer. So, to help you out, here are a few ideas for activities that you can do in the summer months.

 

Mountain Biking

Once the snow melts, there are a host of awesome biking trails throughout Park City. Ranging from leisurely and picturesque to difficult and death defying, these trails offer bikers of all skill levels enjoyable places to ply their craft and see the entirety of Park City in a fun and interesting fashion. Add in the pleasant weather, and you get a fantastic backdrop, and you get an activity that simply must be experienced.

 

Park City Food Tours

With vacation cities, it’s extremely important to offer great food to go along with the great experience. But, it can be difficult to find the absolute best cuisine in the city; fortunately, Park City offers food tours so you can try it all! You’ll eat delicious food, walk around the town, and learn the history of this amazing town, all while having the time of a lifetime. Truly, if you are looking for a fun way to spend a summer day, you can’t go wrong with this!

 

Film

Aside from being the host of the world famous Sundance Film Festival, Park City also offers many other opportunities to experience the world of film. From screenings to festivals, there will be many events that allow you to immerse yourself in the film world, all while experiencing Park City proper.

All in all, even though many believe that you can’t please everybody all the time, Park City really can! All you have  to do to see that is true is to come out during the summer; trust us, it’s a blast!
