One of the most exciting annual events in the Park City area is the Triple Crown Baseball World Series. Teams from across the United States come to Park City to compete in one of the most beautiful locations in the series circuit.
This year, Park City will host the 10u and 12u divisions from July 13 through July 25. In 2014, 66 teams representing 10 states competed in the World Series. In 2015, the number of teams coming to Park City has expanded to 82, from 11 states including California, Colorado, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.
There are several great events that will happen as part of the Series. The Park City Sports Complex will be the site of the skills competition where teams will test their abilities.
After the skills competition, the teams will converge on historic downtown Park City for opening ceremonies. Players, coaches and families will gather in the area to enjoy some traditional pin trading. Then there will be the grand team parade down Main Street in a display of camaraderie and team personality.
Through out the World Series, teams will compete at venues throughout the area including Park City, Oakley, Coalville, and Heber.
Additionally, throughout the World Series, the Grand Valley Bank is sponsoring a free concert series, a perfect way to enjoy some other activities during this busy week of baseball.

In addition to the Grand Valley Series, there are many other free outdoor concerts to enjoy at various locations around the area.
